Atlantic RecordsBruno Mars' collaboration with Cardi B may help the "Bodak Yellow" rapper achieve yet another chart milestone.
Billboard reports that "Finesse," their song together, is doing so well that it may jump from its current #35 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 into the top 5 on next week's chart. If it does, Cardi may become the first female artist in history to have four top 10 hits at the same time.
Billboard notes, however, that the record depends on whether or not Cardi's other three top 10 hits are still there next week. Currently, she's #5 with the A$AP Rocky/G-Eazy collabo "No Limit," #8 with the Migos/Nicki Minaj collabo "MotorSport" and #10 with her own "Bodak Yellow."
The only acts ever to have four or more top 10s simultaneously, by the way, are The Beatles, T-Pain and 50 Cent.
As for Bruno, "Finesse" would be his 15th top 10 on the Hot 100.
Meanwhile, the other big song that was released last week, Justin Timberlake's "Filthy," could hit the top 15 on next week's chart, or possibly the top 10. Either way, it'll be JT's first hit since "Can't Stop the Feeling!" debuted at #1 in 2016.
