We have all seen the incredible devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey and Irma. The photos of elderly residents sitting in waist-deep water at facilities closely resembling our own Royal Middletown, resonated deeply for me; as I'm sure did for many. Thousands of residents were forced to be evacuated from over 95 nursing and assisted living facilities in Texas alone. I reached out to the Royal Health Group and the Mamary family to see if we could do anything to help. A recent update from the American Health Care Association stated that the Texas Health Care Association has set up a fund to support the providers working with patients and residents affected by the hurricanes. Royal Middletown Nursing Center is accepting donations, which the Royal Health Group will match dollar for dollar. Checks can be made out to "Royal Health Group Charitable Foundation".
