Tiffany Haddish dishes on her upcoming portrayal of Florence Griffith Joyner

ABC/Eric McCandless

Tiffany Haddish says she's definitely putting in the work for her upcoming portrayal of late Olympian Florence Griffith Joyner, also known as Flo-Jo.

"This is going to be huge — and my legs are going to be amazing!," Haddish told People magazine. "Florence Griffith Joyner was an amazing human being and the more I'm learning about her, the more I'm like 'Wow!'"

Haddish, who is also producing the yet-titled feature about the late track and field star, says her recent 50-pound weight loss has helped in her process of transforming into the runner, aside from it also being a great ego boost.

"It feels good to be able to wear a two piece and not feel like, 'Oh, I got to put a whole sarong on and a very large coverup. It feels good to be able to be free," she said. "And the main thing about the whole transformation is my knees feel like they're happy. And when my legs is happy, Tiffany's happy."

While the comedian didn't share new details on the forthcoming film, which is said to chronicle Flo-Jo's life and untimely death at age 38 from an epileptic seizure, the feature is expected to highlight Joyner's impact on the world of sports. Haddish says she's not only mentally preparing for the role -- she's plans to look the part as well.

"I have tried on some of the outfits and I must say, I look pretty darn good in them," she joked. "I had the long nails over the summer. We don't have long nails right now because... I'm in the process of writing my next book. So we need the fingertips so we can move quickly on the keyboard, but the nails will be back sooner than later."

Karwai Tang/WireImage

Pete Davidson and Phoebe Dynevor may be taking their relationship to the next level. Reports state that the SNL star is considering a move to the U.K. to be closer to his new love.

Sources tell OK! magazine that since the sketch comedy show has been on hiatus, "Pete’s been nesting with Phoebe across the pond, and the relationship is getting serious."  Dynevor is from the U.K. and is currently filming season two of the steamy Netflix hit Bridgerton.

The pair, who first sparked romance rumors in March, "are ready to take it to the next level," the source adds, noting that Davidson's contract with SNL is "coming up this year" and "it makes sense for him to think about moving."

Davidson, 27, and Dynevor, 26, made their first public, and PDA-packed, appearance at Wimbledon on July 3, and while the insider notes that the two "may seem like an odd pairing," they insisted "they're the perfect match!"

Prior to Dynevor, The King of Staten Island star has been romantically linked to actress Kate Beckinsale and model Kaia Gerber, as well as pop star Ariana Grande, to whom he was engaged for five months.

Jennifer Lopez confirms romance with Ben Affleck in steamy new photo

Bellocqimages/Bauer-Griffin/GC Images

Jennifer Lopez is letting the world know she's found love in an old flame and posted a photo of her and Ben Affleck sharing a sweet kiss over the weekend.

Lopez had jetted off to St. Tropez to celebrate her 52nd birthday and revealed that she had taken Affleck with her.

Sharing a slideshow of her beachy getaway on Saturday, JLo went Instagram official with her old flame.  The first three pictures show the "On the Floor" singer flaunting her toned physique while the final snap is of her and Affleck kissing.

"5 2 … what it do … [pink heart emoiji]," Lopez cheekily captioned the post -- sending her 166 million followers and her famous friends, such as Laverne Cox and Kelly Rowland, into a frenzy.

In April, Lopez and Affleck sparked rumors they were back together. Then, last week, when Lopez's friend Leah Remini shared photos from her 51st birthday bash, she included a snap of Affleck, 48, wrapping his arms around her and Jennifer -- marking the first time the couple was captured together on social media.

Lopez's snap confirms what fans have been hoping to hear since the spring: Bennifer has officially rekindled their flame. Their romance began in 2002 and the two announced their engagement later that year. Jennifer and Ben never made it to the altar, though, going their separate ways in 2004.

Affleck married actress Jennifer Garner and went on to have three children with her.  They divorced in 2015. Meanwhile, Lopez wed singer Marc Anthony and had twin children with him.  Their marriage ended in 2011.

Lopez later became engaged to Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez, but the two ended it in April.

'RHOBH' star Kyle Richards says she "can laugh" now after being hospitalized for bee stings

Andrew Toth/Getty Images for Kendra Scott

Kyle Richards appears to be in good spirits after being hospitalized over the weekend for bee stings.

On Sunday, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star took to Instagram Stories to update fans on her current health status, as well as issue an important reminder about epi pens.

"So this happened yesterday... I walked into a hive of bees and was stung multiple times," Kyle wrote ona picture of herself lying in a hospital bed and wearing an oxygen mask. She also shared security camera footage of the incident, which shows her flailing around before jumping into her pool.

"I can laugh at this now, but what you can't see is that they were in my hair and were literally chasing me," she wrote. "My family wasn't home and for whatever reason the people that work for me couldn't hear me screaming for help."

"My landline wouldn't dial 911 and my epi pen was defective and wouldn't open," Kyle added.

Sharing another selfie of herself in the hospital, Richards -- who's allergic to insect stings -- encouraged people to make sure they know how to use their epi pen, writing, "I share this story with you because I sometimes don't bother to take my epi pen with me. I also don't know why I couldn't get mine to work."

"There are different types of epi pens and they each work differently. But also always call 911 even if you are able to use your epi pen as they have to use other medications to help breathing etc," she explained.

The RHOBH star then thanked the Los Angeles Fire Department and the Encino Hospital Medical Center for responding quickly, aiding her through a panic attack and "repeatedly having to convince me there were no more bees in my hair."

Nathan Fillion gives new meaning to "arms control" as TDK in new clip from 'The Suicide Squad'

Courtesy of Warner Bros. Pictures/™ & © DC Comics

(NOTE LANGUAGE) Lots of virtual ink has been spent on fan speculation that with a name only listed as TDK, Nathan Fillion would be playing The Dark Knight AKA Batman in the upcoming sequel The Suicide Squad

However, fanboys and girls, you can put your hands down. Or, more accurately, your arms: with a new clip posted exclusively to IGN's YouTube channel, it has been revealed that TDK actually stands for The Detachable Kid -- a low-tier DC Comics hero who can detach his limbs and use them independent of his torso.

In the scene from Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn's forthcoming film, the Suicide Squad members, including Joel Kinnaman's Rick Flag and Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn, are under fire, and the order goes out to deploy TDK.

In that instant, Fillion strikes a heroic pose, and his arms indeed pop off, and float over to the bad guys, and proceed to basically just annoy them.

"What the f***?!" Harley says in disbelief. "I didn't pick the damn team!" Flag replies in his defense.

A while back, Fillion, who has appeared in nearly every Gunn-directed film in some form, had some fun with the online speculation. He falsely boasted to ABC Audio that not only was he playing The Dark Knight, but that previous Batmen WestKeatonKilmerClooney, and Bale need to take a seat. "I'm gonna go update my Wikipedia page as well, to make sure everybody knows that I played The Dark Knight. Some say the best, I don't know who's saying it. I'll just say, 'Whatever guys, you be the judge.'"

The Suicide Squad also stars Viola DavisJohn CenaIdris ElbaMichael Rooker, and Sylvester Stallone as the voice of King Shark. The film opens August 6.

Judge in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie divorce case dismissed

Jason LaVeris/FilmMagic

An appeals court in California has dismissed the judge Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt had hired to adjudicate their divorce proceedings, Page Six is reporting.

Jolie had filed an appeal motion before Judge John W. Ouderkirk's decision in May that ultimately awarded Pitt more time with their minor children: adopted daughters Pax, 17, and Zahara, 16, as well as the couple's three biological children: Shiloh, 14, and twins Knox and Vivienne, who turn 13 in July. The couple's eldest adopted child Maddox is 19, and as such wasn't part of the custody situation.

However, the appeals court just agreed with Jolie, ruling Ouderkirk didn't appropriately disclose "business relationships with Pitt's attorneys."

According to the publication, the appeals court ruled disqualification was "required," noting, "Judge Ouderkirk's ethical breach, considered together with ...his recent professional relationships with Pitt’s counsel, might cause an objective entertain a doubt as to the judge's ability to be impartial."

The 46-year-old Jolie and Pitt, 57, split in 2016 after 2 years of marriage, but 12 years together. They were legally divorced in April 2019, but chose at the time to mediate custody and other issues separately via a private judge for the purposes of discretion.

AnnaSophia Robb talks playing real-life prosecutor in Peacock's true crime series, 'Dr. Death'

Barbara Nitke/Peacock

The new Peacock series Dr. Death may just have you running for a second opinion after your next doctor’s visit.

The drama stars Joshua Jackson as Dr. Christopher Duntsch, a neurosurgeon who repeatedly botched spinal surgeries, killing two patients and maiming at least four others. It’s based on the Wondery true crime podcast of the same name.

AnnaSophia Robb co-stars as Michelle Shughart, the prosecutor who teams up with two other doctors -- played by Alec Baldwin and Christian Slater -- to put Duntsch away for murder. Robb tells ABC Audio she learned a lot from the real-life Shughart.

“One of my favorite quotes she ever gave me [was], ‘I can be nice to you and still put you in prison,’” Robb says. “And that line just boggles my mind. But it's true. You can be polite and you can treat everybody equally and be really professional and respectful, but still do your job really well.”

The project also re-teams Robb with Jackson, with whom she co-starred in Little Fires Everywhere though she didn't have any scenes with him.

“Josh always has a running joke that, you know, in the next [show], I'm going to kill him. Because the first one, it's a bad marriage. This one, I'm trying to get him in jail. The next one, you know, I'll off him,” she laughs.

Dr. Death is streaming now on Peacock.

Clara McGregor shows off fresh face, a month after dog bit her

Sean Zanni/Patrick McMullan via Getty Images

As reported last month, Ewan McGregor's daughter Clara was bitten on the face by a dog hours before she appeared at a red carpet premiere of their film The Birthday Cake, but judging by her latest snaps, she's all healed up.

The UK  tabloid The Mirror showed the 25-year-old was all smiles at The Ischia Global Festival, recently held at Italy's Resort Torre Michelangelo, and nary a trace of the wounds on her cheek and nose could be seen -- especially impressive as she was apparently all but makeup free.

The actress and producer clearly isn't holding grudges against canines. She recently posted to Instagram a shot of herself and a cute little pooch, while she looks lovingly at The Birthday Cake director Jimmy Giannopoulos. "4 years," Clara wrote with some heart emoji, "I love you."

'Modern Family''s Ariel Winter hopes for "freedom" for Britney, "consequences" for people "who have kept her away"

Walt Disney Television/Yolanda Perez

Modern Family alumna Ariel Winter has never been in a conservatorship like Britney Spears, but as a young star who won emancipation from her family in 2015, she feels for her.

"I support Britney. I think Britney is incredible," Winter told E! News. "Her story's incredibly moving."

Winter, who called out Britney's father Jamie Spears on social media a year ago regarding his conservatorship over his daughter, added of the pop star, "She should absolutely be free to live her life, be in control of her life, in control of herself. I think it's absurd that this is the situation that she has to be in."

Twenty-three-year-old Winter didn't mince words. "I truly hope that people who have kept her away from doing that do suffer some sort of consequences, because she deserves all the happiness, the freedom, the love and the control of her life that she should have," she declared.

Winter added, "I think the justice system, unfortunately, is corrupt."

Patina Miller and Omar Epps explain why 'Power Book III: Kanan' was the perfect series for them to join

Courtesy of Starz

Patina Miller and Omar Epps say it wasn't a tough decision to sign on to Starz's Power prequel, Power Book III: Raising Kanan

For Epps, joining the cast as Detective Malcolm Howard -- a corrupt NYPD cop in Queens -- was an opportunity for him to learn more about of one of Power's most notorious villains.

"I was a fan of Power," Epps tells ABC Audio, before noting that he was "attracted" to "the notion of how far Kanan went [to become] the monster that he was."

Epps says he was also interested in exploring Kanan's origin story, and how "a pimple-faced teenager" from a single parent home could "evolve" into the Kanan Stark that fans first saw in Power.

"That was really interesting to me," he says.

Epps' co-star, Patina Miller, who plays Kanan's fierce and protective mother Raquel, shares similar sentiments, adding that she loved the idea of joining the wildly popular Power universe as a central figure.

"I love pressure," she says. "But there was no pressure because we're dealing with a really amazing piece. It's very well written. The characters are so fleshed out. Every character in our series is three dimensional. Every character has a secret. It's exciting. It's fun. It's gritty. It's raw. It's all the things that make for incredible television."

The Tony-award winning actress' excitement for the series doesn't stop there.

"We have the best actors in my opinion [and] I love coming to work with each and every one of them," Miller continues. "And I'm so excited for everyone to get to see some really amazing, talented people with some incredible writing. The all around production of this entire show [that] I'm so proud of."

Power Book III: Raising Kanan airs Sunday nights at 8 p.m. ET on Starz.

Benifer 2.0 makes it Instagram official, thanks to Leah Remini

BG004/Bauer-Griffin/GC Images

While the pair have been spotted together many times since reportedly rekindling their 2000s-era romance in April, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have kept their coupling off Instagram -- until now.

Thanks to a snap from a slideshow on J. Lo's bestie Leah Remini's Instagram page, the old-new couple have been captured together on the social media platform for the first time.

Remini shared a series of black and white pictures from a photo booth that had been set up for her 51st birthday party on Thursday.  Among them is a snap of the buzzed-about couple. Luckily, fans can pause the slideshow to get a good look.

It shows Lopez striking a pose under the crook of a smiling Ben's right arm, her hand on his chest. For good measure, Remini's under Ben's left arm, with her hand on his chest as well.

Remini commented to her 2.9 million followers, "Wanted to share a little video from my birthday with you all because I got so much love from you on my birthday but also everyday [sic]. I consider myself to have the best support system here on social media."

She added, "Also, I can't thank my family & friends enough for coming, for celebrating with me in a way that was very special to me. It's been an interesting year, so this birthday meant a lot for many reasons."
